This policy explains what personal information we collect when you book with ARB Yachts and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Booking details: the lead guest's name, email address and mobile number, the trip, date, number of guests and any extras.
- Guest names you add for the marina guest list.
- Payment records: the amount, method and a reference from the payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
- Boarding records: when each ticket was scanned.
Why we use it
- To confirm your booking and send your tickets by email (and WhatsApp, where available).
- To run the trip: boarding, the guest list the marina authorities require, and safety on board.
- To contact you about changes, such as a weather cancellation.
- To keep accounting and tax records as UAE law requires.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Service providers who help us run bookings: email delivery, payment processing, messaging and website hosting. They only use it to provide their service to us.
- Marina and maritime authorities, when the law requires a guest list.
- Anyone else only when the law requires it.
Where it is stored
Our booking system runs on servers in the European Union (Germany), protected by encryption in transit and restricted staff access. Some providers may process data in other countries under their own safeguards.
Cookies
The public website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Our staff dashboard uses one cookie to keep staff logged in.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and payment records for as long as UAE accounting and tax rules require, and delete guest lists once they are no longer needed for the trip.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, unless we must keep it by law. Contact us using the details on this website.
